Recently, Eric Dubay over at atlanteanconspiracy.com has recently started a very similar project to what aMuseMe represents. A completely user generated independent media consortium, where anyone with a knack for art, journalism, film, or creativity can have their work broadcast across the interwebs. They can describe mediacontrol.org much better than I ever could, so here's what they have to say about the project:


Hello, this is Eric Dubay from AtlanteanConspiracy.com andEric's Esoterics introducing MediaControl.org, a new venture my friends and I have undertaken in the spirit of free speech and independent thought.  Thanks to a generous contribution I was given this domain and would like to make the best use of it possible.  In the interest of giving a louder voice to the masses of independent writers, researchers, musicians, artists, and filmmakers out there, MediaControl.org is here to publish and help promote your original articles, artwork, music and videos to a wider internet audience.

I have been creating blogs and websites for half my life and have found scores of effective ways to promote and drive traffic via social networking, search engines, blog catalogs etc. and would like to use that knowledge to help promote you!  All original writing, art, music, or film of any type/topic that you would like to share with the internet at large, MediaControl.org is here to help build you a bigger soapbox.  Even if your original media is already posted elsewhere on the web (i.e. your blog, website, video channel etc.) send it to mediacontrol@hotmail.com and we will help spread your work to a much broader audience of other independent artists and free thinkers.

Media Control will publish up to 4 posts per month for you, link to your original source material (if applicable) and provide you with your own contributor's page, then use the latest methods of promotion and directing traffic to help promote not only your work but also your website, channel, or blog.  All we ask for in return is a reciprocal link to MediaControl.org on your site, blog, channel, facebook or wherever you can.  So please help us help you and send your original media to

mediacontrol@hotmail.com and together we will build an archive of truly free and independent media as well as a community of like-minded writers and artists.  Peace.

My interview with Brian Haw!

While a buddy and myself were traveling across Europe this summer/fall, we came across Brian Haw whilst visiting jolly old'. He was chillin across the street from parliament, as he usually is, and I had my camcorder. Here is the result...
Sorry about the conversation in the background and the shit video quality. A new friendship was forming behind the camera, so that explains the voices. As for the video, my memory stick was corrupted shortly after the interview. So with some impromptu recovery and editing, this is what I came up with. Hope you enjoy!!
Update: Brian was flown out of London on the first of January for cancer treatment. Send some positive energy and prayers to Brian and his family! :)

Broskis

This concept hasn't really fostered much over the past half year or so. Starting something for the community, for my friends, and for myself, hasn't been an easy task. My first blog went up about six months ago. Seriously lacking in content that wasn't for personal use, very little developed. There was no flow and nothing seemed to get the ball rolling. And as much as I desired to spread some knowledge, open some minds, blah blah blah, the idea of yet another blog parroting the same information that can be found at thousands of other sources never really appealed to anything creative within myself. That idea died a slow and uneventful death. Maybe it's all this conceptualization that is the problem. Why in hell should we have to feel compelled to do all of these things, without consciously understanding why they are necessary. We don't need to birth a vessel for widespread social change or seek to compel today's disenfranchised to support anything other than discovering themselves. Granted, we've got our opinions and beliefs and that shit's going to shine through. Fuck the corporate slave-drivers with their machine minds and well regulated-illusory-soul crushing system.  Fuck everyone who says that you aren't perfect in all of your imperfection.  There's nothing more hopeless than getting lost in a self perpetuated web of fear. So how about we focus on what matters :) Everyone I've opened up to about this idea has been so fucking positive. Getting the homies involved is  going to be incredible. Step one complete! Watching ideas flounder through good conversation and the consequent abundance of content and good times that will follow. We do this shit already, so there's no reason why we can't spread some good ideas and some positive vibes in the process. I have no clue what's going to come out of any of this. We'll see after some conversation with the bros. Sorry if any of this feel pretentious! But no one is going to read this so there's no one can take offence HAHAHAHAHAAHAHA
